I loved training with Alex. Her approach really resonated with me as she comes from a movement background rather than just Pilates. Alex understands the way the body moves in a very nuanced way and this enabled her to advise on adjustments with greater accuracy. However, if you just want a very good Pilates coach you get that too! Alex provides in person and online classes. The in-person classes were particularly helpful for me as I preferred the tactile feedback. It also meant that I was forced to take a break from work!

I LOVE your classes, Alex! It’s such a juxtaposition though- you’ve got this lovely, calm temperament but the Pilates is savage*!

I have been having individual Pilates lessons from Alex for several months and it has been great. I came as a complete novice to Pilates and hampered by various bodily deficits, related to age (I'm 76) and an accident.Undeterred, Alex has gently but firmly persuaded me that I could bend and stretch in unfamiliar ways. She has an excellent grasp of the subject, is acutely observant and able to identify problems and suggest remedies, patiently and without judgement. I feel in very safe and competent hands. I'm still in the foothills, but standing taller, both literally and metaphorical.
It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
Don’t worry about sounding professional. Sound like you. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but your story is what’s going to separate this one from the rest. If you read the words back and don’t hear your own voice in your head, that’s a good sign you still have more work to do.
Be clear, be confident and don’t overthink it. The beauty of your story is that it’s going to continue to evolve and your site can evolve with it. Your goal should be to make it feel right for right now. Later will take care of itself. It always does.

My body makes sense again! After a few online classes with Alex, I began to understand how to use my core to support everyday tasks. Whether I’m driving, hiking, resting, working, cycling or surfing, I can now adjust my posture, especially my pelvis, more mindfully and skilfully. This has taken the strain off my back and shoulders and reduced the pain symptoms of my fibromyalgia. Alex’s instructions are clear and precise and the sessions are always light-hearted, and playful, whilst still taking the practice of Pilates seriously. Highly recommended!

I started attending 2-3 online Pilates sessions per week with Alex while in lockdown two years ago and I love it. Alex’s instructions are very clear and easy to follow and she seems to see everything and corrects if necessary. Pilates has made a huge difference to my core strength and flexibility and to my mental well-being. It complements my other exercises of swimming, cycling and walking very well. I can highly recommend Alex’s classes!

Alex's classes are amazing and have given me so much in terms of both physical and mental health. Alex is a great teacher. Her instructions are always clear, and her lessons are well-structured. She helps you improve your movement and strength (discovering muscles you never even knew were there) all while injecting her own personal brand of humour into lessons .The virtual classes work really well. Even in large classes, Alex is able to pinpoint any adjustments any individual student needs to make and give them the attention they need. As someone who jogs and plays football every week, I really couldn't do without Alex's classes as they have helped prevent injury and assist in any necessary recovery. I definitely feel the difference if I have a Pilates-free week! Not only this, but the focus on matching physical activity with the breathing keeps the anxiety and depression demons at bay. Can't recommend these classes highly enough. Thanks, Alex!

Alex’s classes are fun, varied, information and challenging- they’ve helped me through lockdown, pregnancy and with my running. I always feel like I’m getting stronger and I love that each week I learn little tricks of how to be more aware of my body.

I started taking Alex’s classes during the lockdown of the pandemic. I had a little practice of both yoga and Pilates but only took classes irregularly. Alex’s classes took me to another level. She teaches and guides in a manner that makes a lot of sense, as postures seem to logically ‘flow’ one into the other. I keep being impressed by the way she manages to correct me and offer actionable advice through the screen. She has a deep understanding of the body, and her experience as a dancer undoubtedly informs her practice. I would recommend her classes to anyone, including beginners. As a dancer, I especially enjoyed the challenge of her power flow classes.
